4th of July has always been a favorite holiday and we lived it up!
First a parade in Carmel, Indiana. All those years in Texas and having close friends that are avid UT fans rubbed off on Max so when any marching band plays he automatically thinks it's the UT fight song :-). Note that he is signaling "hook 'em horns!"
What a blessing! Sydney's great grandfather Collins and great great aunt Bobbie were there along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and super fun cousins.
I truly can't believe that Sydney is 2 already. In true Sydney fashion she decided to jump off the diving board into Grandmas pool--and insisted on doing it herself with no help from her frightened Mama!
Jason and I were able to go visit our friends the Wilsons in Ohio. They work on a farm that's been in Karen's family about 5 generations and is about 5,000 acres. It was wonderful! To say that Max was excited to see some John Deere tractors is the understatement of the century.
So now we are in Stilly and thankful to get back into the swing of things and continue building relationships here.
